Started from a spreadsheet going down
The derm match spreadsheet kept going read-only during peak traffic. Conversations died, posts vanished. This is a passion project born from that frustration: a place where discussions survive and nothing gets deleted.
All years, not just this one
Once parsing logic existed for one sheet, why not run it on all of them? Every derm spreadsheet back to 2015 is in here. Search across all of it.
A little transparency in a process with almost none
Derm match is deeply iykyk. Programs hold all the cards and applicants scrape together intel through whisper networks. If all the gossip about a program lives in one searchable place, maybe programs behave a little better. Probably not, but worth a shot.
Ranking programs by what people actually say
Years of anonymous posts add up to something useful. The Top Programs rankings are derived from sentiment across all that data. Not surveys, not official metrics. Just the accumulated spreadsheet gossip.
