What this site is
Med Match Forum is a searchable archive of anonymous, unverified, community-authored spreadsheet content about named residency programs, plus posts and comments written directly here, plus an AI-generated applicant sentiment score for each program. The score measures what anonymous people wrote — it is not a measure of program quality, not a survey, not an official metric, and nothing about it is verified. See how rankings work for the full explanation.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this site.
Your content and the licence you grant
Content on this site arrives two ways: posted directly here, or republished from public community spreadsheets (posts, comments, and Fame & Shame entries). You keep ownership of anything you post directly. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable licence to host, display, index, archive, excerpt, and summarize it — including via the automated summary described above. You represent that you have the right to post what you post.
Rules
- Don't identify individuals by name in a way that amounts to doxxing
- Don't present rumor as verified fact about a named person
- No harassment
- Nothing illegal
- No spam
- No impersonation
- No protected health information (PHI) or patient information of any kind — this audience includes clinicians, and that boundary matters
- Nothing you're under a confidentiality obligation not to share
Moderation and archival
Moderation here is two-tiered: posts and comments that fall below a vote-score threshold are hidden automatically, and site operators can also hide any post or comment manually. Hidden content is hidden, not deleted — it stays in the database with its vote history intact. We may remove, hide, or decline to publish content at our discretion, and we have no obligation to monitor content before or after it is posted.
AI-generated summaries and the sentiment score
The per-program summary and sentiment score are generated automatically and describe what anonymous posters wrote. They are statements of opinion and summaries of others' opinions — not statements of verifiable fact about any program or person. They may be wrong, may be withheld, and may be suppressed entirely. We make no warranty as to their accuracy. See how rankings work for the mechanics, and our takedown process if you want to contest one.
Content complaints, corrections, and right of reply
If you want content about you or your program removed, corrected, or want to submit a response, see our takedown and right-of-reply process.
Copyright and DMCA
If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, send a notice to medmatchforum@gmail.com that includes, per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3): a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf; identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; identification of the material you claim is infringing and its location on this site; your contact information; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner. If you believe content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice with the information required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). We will forward it to the original notice sender and may restore the content unless they pursue legal action within the statutory window.
We have not registered a designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office. Send DMCA notices to the email address above; we review and act on them regardless.
Accounts or content that repeatedly infringe copyright may be removed at our discretion.
