Is there anyone else with a Wright State interview in January considering dropping the spot? logged on immediately when I got the email about a spot on the waitlist opening up and it was already too late to get it :( its my only interview offer in january so crossing my fingers another spot opens up

wait, they seriously make it a first-come-first-served thing for waitlist invites?? <scheduling is through thalamus, and they only have one dec and one january date. by the time I logged on, all jan spots were taken, and the dec date is the day of my home program interview. so i had to go on the waitlist for the january date and just hope someone else drops the spot! the program will not do any sort of scheduling or switches outside of thalamus =/

<so.... you're on a waitlist through thalamus. why would knowing who drops help you? aren't you in a particular order on the waitlist already? <nope, there is no order to the waitlist. first come first serve. unless you knew someone who had a spot, was going to drop it, and they gave you a heads up when they were about to. an order to the waitlist would be 100x better

I know! I logged onto Thalamus for Wright State less than 10 min after getting the email and all Jan spots were already full! trying to stay hopeful that a few might open up as it gets closer! > I will do the same ;)
