If I want to do Mohs what would be the best programs to look into? Ik some "top" programs discourage/don't support students interested in it and it's a red flag to mention in interviews lol. Overall been told to look at programs with a fellowship associated with a residency but would be helpful to know of specific ones people have heard about that are supportive with high Mohs match rates
Iowa, Mayo Rochester, Wisconsin (the best ones for Mohs and surgical and procedural training in general)
some of the best Mohs faculty in the country are at these programs and they have historically consistently high match rates and support
Top programs definitely support mohs fellowship as most of the people who get into mohs go to a relatively top program
i've heard for example programs like stanford, emory, and duke aren't supportive based on the name and shame/why I didn't rank higher so was curious if there programs known to be supportive
some of those you just listed aren't necessarily top derm programs, Emory is in the t15 and Stanford is consistently t5-t10 but Duke isn't t15 but more to your point Duke doesn't have a Mohs fellowship and notoriously some of these programs are more about complex med derm and have picky Mohs teaching faculty
