So what is the rationale behind not interviewing an away rotator that signaled gold, is in state, received an amazing eval from the PD, and a LOR from that program? I honestly don't get it.
they have people they pre-picked based on even stronger connections and they want diversity (in every sense of the word aka age gender activities experiences etc). I'm just speculating tho
you could be the best applicant in the world but if the program You're applying to already has someone like you, you'll probably not match there
