I thought they guaranteed interviews to everyone

I was told this too, guess they lied to our faces!

i only knew of how notorious they were about not always intervirewing rotators, heavily warned (by past rotators, not faculty)

that is the opposite of what I was told. multiple residents and faculty stated rotators get guaranteed interviews

then maybe it was your performance

Well most people who rotate do, if you didn't get one then it indeed was your performance.
