I would say the vibes are close-knit vibes amongst the residents, with supportive faculty, lots of surgical training, working with an underserved population so can see a good variety of clinical cases. Daily AM lectures, there's exposure to peds derm and dermpath as well. Lots of spanish speaking patients depending on the clinical site. More of a clinical focused program than research focused. Is in the inland empire, located ~1-2 hrs from LA (without traffic), depending on what part of LA you're going to.
