Is the few minutes where you go up on stage and say where you matched more important than where you will spend the next few years
people go on stage to say where they matched? mine just gives you the envelope and then you just open in a large room with everyone else and their family. kinda messed up to put people on the stage
Is this WashU / Dartmouth? WashU's match stage event be so crazy each year. And they make a video out of it every year. Some of the people opening their envelopes genuinely seemed sad. Dartmouth's match is fun though - I think you get to play your own boss song as you walk down the aisle? I may be misremembering though.
stage. I'm just here to flex on them
I'm so glad my school doesn't do this, I'm choosing where I'll be the happiest.
yea my school doesn't do this either lol i could care less what other people think too old for that
tbh I thought every school did this. Mine does and I like it but I can see it both ways
how many aways i did and where and how the culture was there also if i applied to X program in same state, idk if these are illegal but i felt weird when asked> feels fishy to me> attendings just being weird and out of touch in general, one interview someone heavily implied that out of state people shouldnt be interviewed etc
Got asked if u need to eliminate a country, what country that would be and why…..
wait guys lowkey after interviews are done we should make a fame and shame interview only edition sheet for these kinda things/ vibes of the rooms
totally agree
