seems like most residents are from maryland med schools tho...>as an internal applicant Hopkins is towards the bottom of my list. the past 4 years in Baltimore have been pretty mid, and there's been a ton of turnover in the derm department faculty-wise. Mentorship is kind of lacking and with people leaving I've heard from residents that there are some gaps in training they feel they don't get here. Definitely still some good eggs, and if you're willing to tolerate Baltimore for 3 years it wouldn't be the worst place to train, but if you have better options I would take them…

Baltimore isn't terrible but there are much nicer cities to train in and live in lol
