I don't think it's bonkers - definitely a niche track but they're trying to build leaders in cutaneous oncology research> it's TOO niche, there'll be a handful of such programs across the country that can support a career in something so niche

it's basically a built in research year. intended for people who wanna do the super specific academic jobs

It is the ultimate fame and shame since it shows how people truly (or reportedly) ranked, despite the one-off stories peoplen share in the fame and shame tab>> There is literally no guarantee people are suddenly authenthic. People applying next year can anonymously make shit up so people rank lower their choice

Its purely there to fulfill curiousity but where you rank a program doesn't really matter if the program doesn't rank you highly
