puts on this research and outreach persona when he will probably end up going into private practice and never doing these things ever again (based on similar personalities I have seen in derm throughout the years) < He seems like a very nice person who wants to help others, but I do think he may be somewhat out-of-touch. This Thi creator said "white counterparts, blonde or not, should be educated in cultural humility and diversity" and Devin made all this long emoji-filled comment agreeing with that take. So using the naive blonde stereotype completely defeated his whole argument about how appearance-based assumptions are harmful, but when Devin was challenged on that, he was too cowardly to respond and chose to block me instead. New flash, you can call out the issues in derm culture without stereotyping an entire group of people based on their physical features. And agreeing with commenters who do so just means you're calling out bias with more bias. And I was perfectly polite and open to having a discussion.
