Interview rates are generally 0-4% w/o signal depending on program. More important to use signals wisely, but not useless to apply without signal (compared to derm where interview rate is 0% lol)
Definitely! TY signals are kind of BS and same with Prelim. The signals help but don't matter nearly as much as for Derm. From personal experience, where I got interviews for TY seemed to not correlate with signals.
If your app is pretty strong save yourself the time and money. 12 TYs and 15 prelims is plenty
