What does this mean on BU's webiste: "Our program will be accepting the standard ERAS supplemental application." Is that just the regular ERAS application or is there a supplemental thing too?

<-- yes. this is true. Supplemental was signals and geosignalling a few years ago but people liked it so it's just standard now.

I believe that's the regular ERAS application and that "supplemental" is leftover from when changes were made years ago
