should i do harvard december away rotation? all interview invites go out in november and i have no connections but feels like missed opporunity if i dont? i have another away at the same time at a more likely institution so i need to choose is the issue. and who should i gold in this situation?
agree with this however as a current resident i wish i would have rotated at some of the bigger places to get some more exposure (bc youll likely never get the chance again if u match somewhere smaller). i did not have the extra money to rotate at additional places if not interviewing but if u do, i would consider keeping the rotation regardless for the exposure!

OP, FWIW, I also have an away rotation in Nov/Dec because it was the only spot I was able to get. of course I also don't know whether ti'll help re. interviews and such, but thought I'd give it a shot and at the very least get to explore a new city and all.
I turned down this december rotation just bc of interview season but obviously it's a personal decision
keep it, if you get an interview do the rotation, if you dont get an interview then cancel it
