Does it matter when we submit these sups or as long as they are in by the due date?

I would think it would be by the due date (which is earlier than the due date on the website for applications in general), just because it's sort of an internal deadline for supplemental information w/your application on a temporary "hold". They're clearly trying to get people who would actually be interested in coming there vs. people who just apply because they clicked a button on ERAS. It's a good way to get an actual good pool of people all of whom would be happy there and they don't have to decide those interviews until for Dec/Jan. so they have a while to go thru it and read it thoroughly.
