Residents told me that it can't be legally binding per ACGME rules so if you want to do private practice no one is going to care even if BU doesn't like it. The twist they didn't tell us before was that if you want to do a fellowship far away, then you have to do it after the second 3, not the first. They're implementing that as a new rule for our class
