Can you explain what you mean? I have family that lives in Utah and I already sent them an LOI but haven't received an invite yet. The worst that could happen is that they don't give me an interview, right?
No, the worst that could happen is that they get annoyed with you and tell other programs about you. PDs talk to each other all the time, and they talk about specific applicants. You've already sent them an LOI explaining everything, they know you really want to go there. You either get an interview or you don't. Chill out, there's nothing you can do at this point
