This 11/29 applicant was actually TRIPLE booked with Yale initially, if you look at the resolved swaps.
Too close to the interview date and a program probably can't even accommodate a swap, the interviewers have to read over files in advance
Its a small world and people will find out about this bullshit
If anyone can switch with their UPMC or Penn State interview date with me, that would be fantastic. Otherwise, please leave me alone. These programs don't even have waitlists. They're not going to pull one of you guys in at the last minute. Thanks.
Damn, ice cold reply. But it is a little messed up people are attacking the person for doing something, almost everyone here would probably do too in the same situation
I don't have sympathy for the applicant who's manipulating the interview system. If he/she cancels right before an interview, or no-shows, their school should hear about it and word should spread. Do you think the program that gets shafted will invite future applicants from that school?
These programs don't even have waitlists --- you can't be serious. Just because a program doesn't send out a waitlist doesn't mean they don't have alternates they will offer an interview when people cancel. Programs have a number of interviews they want to conduct in order to ensure they match all their spots. If everyone like you refused to drop an interview until the last minute, you are putting these programs in a bad spot and hurting another person's chance of matching. x3 again canceled psu last week and just didnt update this spreadsheet so yall are wasting your time complaining about me

Anyone else think the two VCU people are a perfect swap but they probably forgot that about their swap request?
