hi derm fam, I know invites for these programs haven't gone out yet and to be honest I don't know if I would even get an invite, but I'm curious about UVA and UPenn - I didn't get a chance to rotate at either and was wondering if anyone who did or anyone who goes to the school etc. has any thoughts on the PDs and/or progams at each they'd be willing to share? thank you so much!
thank you for your response! that sounds awesome! did you feel like the residents were nice / friends with each other? and I know UPenn has a number of prominent faculty - did they seem nice / approachable / like they enjoy teaching (esp rosenbach)? sorry for all the questions!!

thank you!! he does seem like he's an all around awesome teacher/mentor/person - hope im half as good as an attending :') --> away rotater again: rosenbach is amazing. super nice and teaches alot. Everyone is approachable, some more than others. Overall, I've had a great expereince this month and have learned alot from the faculty here. Tons of research opportunity as well. Residents are super nice! They seem to get along well with each other

I've done an away at Penn and the residents seem happy. Lots of supporting staff and big names. << any inside info about when invites will be sent? No clue - I know some attendings have looked through applicantions so hopefully soon! << thanks!
