anyone know if NYU offers subsidized housing and if so, if its guaranteed. Regardless i would love to hear from current residents or students who've lived in NYC about how theyve managed the cost of living. NYU is a dream, but honestly dont know if i could afford it. x3

The saddest part of this all is most of the 'top' programs are in areas low/middle income candidates simply cannot afford, thus making the field only for the wealthy<yeah success in medicine in general favors the wealthy but A) those programs have other specialties so IF it were a problem it would be larger than just derm and B) for the most part salaries are congruous with CoL and C) you don't need to go to a top residency program to be a doctor
