Just wondering if having less fellowship options is a drawback when considering a program. Seems like most places take their residents for fellowships. For example, Hopkins doesn't have a surgery fellowship. Is that something concerning?

Mohs/procedural is difficult to match into regardless of if your program has one or not. However, I have heard that connections matter even more here, so not having a fellowship may mean less connections

this is very true although you can still have connections, for example your PD went to residency with Mohs director at another institution. But I agree it is a disadvantage.. just not a huge one.

Not necessarily. You might have 1 internal fellowship spot but maybe other people from your class are also applying. It's not a guarantee . <It is concerning in the sense that strong progrrams tend to have fellowships for at least peds/path/mohs so missing one of those is a slight red flag since the probably do not have the fellowship for a reason
