For the NYU pre-interview dinner, when they say "dress is casual, jeans are ok", is it ok to still dress business casual (e.g. clinic clothes)? Or would that stand out in a negative way?
trickles? external invites? < any external rotators hear back yet?
dates? x2 <1/9, 1/30
Email or ERAS? <ERAS
You're good either way and very few people are looking at your clothes. Focus on the food, our day's food was amazing! Also, people dress snappishly in NY anyway
<awesome. for those of you who attended the first pre-interview dinner, anyone remember what the residents were wearing?
As the responder, RELAX, seriously, if you're really this wound up about something so minor (and something that's specified on the invite), I can tell you that the pre-interview isn't when you'll be having problems.
i hear you
< congrats! wow, today is a rough day for me <thanks, and I'm sorry :(
