Anything interesting from NYU diversity talk? Was going to attend but had an emergency <main take aways: lots of diversity efforts both within the department and nyu as a whole. specific mentorship and leadership opportunities to help those interested in academia. lots of specialty clinics in SOC. Very diverse patient population in general. Overall, impressed <Amazing, thank you kind soul!<sounds like a great culture over there not competitive enough for NYU obv but just because you are not the best derm applicant doesnt mean you should drag an institution over jealousy. ones career path is long - who knows you could very well make your way into being an attending there one day if you keep at it!<huh? < i think they were just venting out loud/pepping themselves up, lol. i respect it.
