Very unrelated but anyone else feel some type of way about NYU med school being able to game the rankings and go from being ranked in the 30's to 2 in the matter of a decade... wtf < the power of $$ < The whole thing makes me feel dirty... How could a healthcare institution care so much about rankings that they had to artificially inflate themselves < the whole ranking system is trash as many of us remind people here of all the time so maybe we just need to stop caring so much about them < rankings don't mean shit. prestige doesn't mean shit. until we applicants get our heads screwed on and realize it's all a facade, these schools will continue to game the system (and us) to their advantage.
