What research fellowships and under what mentors can I do research to make this a reality? < You're crazy to think that matching into Derm at Wash U or U Michigan (two very strong residency training programs) is something that can be accomplished by doing a specific research fellowship. Also, elitism (connections with mentors) does have a strong influence in helping you get interview invites. I'm not "crazy" to think that developing connections with mentors at washu and umich is maybe a way to increasing chances of matching there.
