The reality of the situation is that you can have an average derm app from a top 5 and match, and then have a stellar application from a lower tier school and struggle to match. Sucks )<*slightly below average derm app i think could still cut it from harvard < yup. My Harvard friend said I had a 10x app than he did, and he ended up at a top program. I did not, at all.
