Applicants discuss MCG's interview timeline and release patterns, with mixed experiences including invites, rejections, and post-interview feedback. Notable concerns include duplicate rejection emails, perceived unfair treatment, and speculation that the program prioritizes internal candidates and away rotators. The program received praise for its 100% Mohs match rate.
Day 4: MCG or UCSF? It's looking more likely interviews have gone out and people are silent. Nothing on my end
MCG will probably go to internals, on the internals tab they have a lot of reapplicants and they usually only take internals and away rotators
never say never!
day 3: Anyone hear from MCG or UCSF? For me, nothing. >> Nada yet > been quiet, does anyone have anything to share?
Did you guys apply for the advanced posiiton originally or just the new R>> Just the new r
red flag> what's a red flag?
red flag> what's a red flag?
Day 2:Anything from UCSF or MCG?
nothing so far :(> Nothing 12 PM 2/10
Nothing on 2:30 PM 2/10/2026 too lmao >> 5: 12 PM nada yet gang> 8:45 nothing, onto tomorrow
What is this referring to?
Have MCG and UCSF released interviews for their physician spot?> Preparing to be devastated
I am guessing they are probably meeting to review the apps today and invites could come out later this week? >> Yeah I assume they meet today since the deadline was Friday afternoon to apply.
Any movemennt here yet?>> Havent heard anything today from my friends
People deleting anything about PGY2 spots - so far new ones include: UCSF, Temple, MCG . Please add others to help reapplicants
Wayne state
Does anyone know when these applications are due?
MCG and UCSF due 2/6 the other new ones didn't advertise but I'd guess something similar
Wayne state one apparently is not real
if so I wasted $$ applying lol

We are still missing matches for: Kansas (KS), Vanderbilt (TN), Temple (PA), MCG (GA), St. Lukes (PA), HCA Corpus Christi (TX), HealthPartners (MN), Mayo Clinic (Jacksonville) (FL), EVMS (VA), Marshfield Clinic (WI), DCC-Flint (MI), LSU - New Orleans (LA).

Anyone hear from MCG R spot? Are interviews out?
reapplicant here:( how can i see what programs had R spots available this past cycle? also does that change every year?>> Yup changes every year, there was approximately 7 or 8 when I submitted ERAS and maybe 4-6 that came out from start to end of cycle
this year I think was UCSF, case western, midwestern, UTMB, puerto rico, larkin, pcom georgia, temple, mcg, utah - half of those came out halfway through the cycle
The ones from the start of the cycle: Lark S Miami (not real, reserved for the unpaid research fellow), Case Western, Midwestern, DCC-Flint, UTMB, PR, PCOM, Georgia. Later ones that came out but from the grapevines they only interviewed people that had already signaled earlier in the cycle and/or were reserved for internal as there wasn't any mention of new reapplicants that hadn't originally signaled getting IIs: UCSF, Temple, MCG, NYMC, Wayne State, Utah
