Anyone know which week in Jan the NYC programs will be coordinating for? (as they've done in prior years)
Looks like Sinai, Columbia, Cornell coordinated last year or just happened that way - end of Jan. NYU was earlier
New York, NY

^^^Lotta anxiety here right now lol....
Apparently we're not allowed to post interview invites from top programs on this spreadsheet (see Yale, UCSF)
Harvard, Stanford, Penn, and NYU will crash the sheet
Mid or low-tier program sends out an invite -> "Congrats! Internal or external? Any ties to the program?" vs Top-tier program send out an invite "I DIDNT GET AN INVITE THERE SO YOU MUST BE A TROLL. WHY ARE YOU COMMENTING ANONYMOUSLY? LIARRRRRRRRR"
Please stop. This is not productive.
Has anyone received an interview invitation either from NYU or Columbia for prelim?
NYU prelim x 1
If you don't mind asking, can I know when you heard back and when are interview dates?
Is it known if these programs (like NYU, UIC) send multiple waves?? x2
Based on previous years' spreadsheets: NYU no, UIC yes. I think most programs do not
How is NYU interviewing 120 people for 8 slots? isnt that excessive?| Lol someone must be trolling. There are only 2 interview dates. I'm nearly positive they are not interviewing 60 per day. x2
actually if you look at the other schools it is a lowish to average number ... 15 or 20 to 1 slot is typical
Top five programs don’t interview 15 per spot or go that deep on rank list. No PD/ Chair is going to want to see 60 applicants in a day. PSA: Don’t feed the troll. x2
NYU ERAS MSG with no attachment, anyone else
Yep, emailed back
what does the message say??
"Please see attached"
The title states that it's for the interview dinner
Was this really necessary to post?
Sorry, you're probably right. Mea culpa.
So we're back to deleting stuff, huh?
I can't exactly what was said previously but it was along the lines of saying the person who made the comment to the left is "humble bragging" and that "mea culpa" is a poor excuse (brought to you by someone who can post on here and believes in trans-fair-ency. eg SWA)
this was not false or misleading information. people should be able to post on here freely without the mods regulating which content gets published or not per their liking.
MEA CULPA
Can someone confirm that NYU will be interviewing 60 applicants? Previously, I saw that they were interviewing 120 applicants.
I do not know the exact number but I guarantee they are not interviewing 120 applicants. That number is ridiculous.
The session I was at last week had ~15 people and there's 4 sessions so 60 is an educated guess
Per residents, ~60 is correct.
Thanks!
Anyone get a RTM call from NYU?
My friend got a call last week.
Anyone else hear the same?
I heard secondhand that NYU made RTM calls (from what I think are reliable sources).
Please stop with the trolling. I know firsthand from talking to the current residents that NYU has not made RTM calls
and how exactly would residents know if the PD decided to make calls?
Any RTM calls/emails recently?
As far as I know, the only programs who have done it are: UCSF, Yale, NYU, UPenn, NW. Am I missing any?| I thought NYU didn't?
Why are positive comments about NYU and Stanford being deleted?
dont act dumb. people are gunners. shit is getting changed in an attempt to manipulate people. It has happened every year and it is hapening again this year. get over it. dont make decisions based on those comments. it is out of our control.
Someone is also deleting positive comments for UCSF and Northwestern...
Some posts are shown because their comments mention this program.
I looked at the calendar from last year and it didn't seem like all the NYC programs did
