Sentiment score: 5.8 / 10

Applicants discuss MUSC interview logistics, timeline, and program characteristics, with mixed sentiment. Key concerns include communication delays from program coordinators, high Step 1 cutoffs (250 for IMGs), and uncertainty about interview release schedules. Program reputation appears decent with mentions of good clinical opportunities, travel/conference access, and Charleston's appeal, though some note toxicity concerns and high cost of living.

what do people think of MUSC? good rep? good vibes? no one ranked them in tally.....

#30082025–2026 DermFeb 21

heard it was toxic> it's not that bad, they get a lot of opportunities to travel and attend conferences, Charleston is a nice place to live albeit expensive, and they see a lot of interesting patients since SC is lacking derm programs
