I'm confused...is Mississippi and LSU all out? there was little discussion for their II release so I am unsure and also grappling for hope lol

LSU SOM-New Orleans dermatology program appears to be selective and primarily recruits internal/home students, with a notably long interview day. Applicants discuss interview logistics, scheduling, and housing arrangements, while noting the program's reputation and competitiveness relative to peer institutions. The program is characterized as relatively 'chill' compared to more intense programs.
anyone know when LSU or Mississippi release interviews?
Ahhhh
Ill be honest a lot of the times derm programs do not update their website frequently. Last cycle I was seeing interview dates with 2022/2023 on their pages well into the cycle after apps were already due. It is very possible that websites are out of date. Residency explorer is probably more accurate when it comes to that info. For example LSU derm: https://residents.lsuhsc.edu/no/dermatology/application_requirements.aspx If you scroll to the bottom of the page in the strongly encouraged section it says "For the 2022 ERAS cycle"
Tea on which programs almost always interview their away rotators? (either on the away or invite them later on), I know so far Emory, UF...
Miami, Tulane> Tennessee
so for these programs, do you not need to signal them (gold or silver) if you do an away rotation there?
you'll have to ask them, ik programs also change from year to year, signals are still fairly new
you def still should silver signal your aways at the least unless specifically told otherwise, but in my experience they all still wanted a signal some aways wanted silver and told us to save gold for others
heard wake forest interviews them all!> not true for WF >LSU
FSU, MUSC, Arkansas, UF

What programs are considered workhorse and what programs are considered chiller?
Emory NYU, Washu, lots of the Texas programs workhorse
LSU, Tennessee, Wake forest, Mississippi, Missouri, Arkansas are examples of chill ones
lies on the Texas programs being workhorse. There are definitely chill programs here. More reasons to take people's opinions cautiously.
same with nyu…yall are just parroting what you've heard people say in the past instead of talking about things you have actual knowledge about…
Is BU a chill program? Nope

I was offered an away at LSU for November 24, 2025 - December 19, 2025, looking to switch to an august/ october block!
