How do any of us know if a match is random or not though lol we don't know where people have done aways or what connections to programs or regions they may have, nor we do know anything about people's apps

no one has shown proof of recent yale or harvard to case western residents. its not hard to pull up a link of someone online if this actually exists. if it exists it is a rare phenomenon and they probably had family in the area or something. why the heck else would you want to go to cleveland <<< This isn't criminal court. Programs know that R positions are lucrative and tend to go outside the match, they know they can remove things from a normal contract and offer less given how desperate these candidates are. Really most know who they tend to take as these are people currently in fellowships getting used as free labor and are the PI of the fellowship year is typically good friends of the PD. They know they can get some more abuse out of these suckers so why not

<this isnt true. they are not going to pay these people less than averagr residents (true; clinical fellows salaries are based on pgy level)
