Just got an IV for Louisville KY. I guess stuff is still coming out
those who rotated at Univ of Louisville, did you receive an interview invite? i know they interviewed while on rotation but want to make sure that we didnt need an official invite to be ranked >> can you send an email and let us know? I have the same Q
Anyone gone on any in person interviews?
no but can we make a list of the interviews that we know will be in person?
Hopkins, Yale, Mayo, Louisville Maryland, Tulane, USC, LSU, University of Florida Gainesville, kaiser LA, Univ Miami>these are exactly the programs i would have guessed would have in person interviews
what does that mean lol
I thought in person was just better for vibe check
programs want to be sure you can handle their patient populations and cities
what does it mean to "handle" a patient population...
yeah I dont know what you are saying is true, this is essentially every major city, wytalkin bout
Why are people stressing about whether or not a Derm interview will come right now when the first batch doesn't even come until November 7th?< some person on the 2019-2020 or whatever spreadsheet highlighted and bolded somethings about programs lying so maybe they dont want to listen to the APD rules in some cases. i dont even know who did it or if they were a derm applicant but it could be true right? that programs would ignore these APD suggestions about coordinated release << I mean I guess it's possible although I haven't heard anyone in prior years say that. According to the APD instructions, programs not participating in coordinated interview invite release were told to post the date of interview invite release on their websites: https://louisville.edu/medicine/departments/medicine/divisions/dermatology/residency-program/dermatology-apd_statement_on_2021-2022_application_cycle
