I missed the UNM Open House(s). What is everyone's impression of the program? I know it's new-ish...
Anyone else out here just sitting by there email wishing for a last minute invite? Would literally hop on a plane anywhere now for an interview x5
Gave up on that late last week and rescheduled a prelim interview to this week (which I had been keeping it open just in case I got an invite).
I only have 3 interviews and was rejected by both my aways. I'd love to have just 2 more for peace of mind.
Trickle? Never heard of her x2
Posted in the interview swap tab, but can anyone switch U New Mexico or OHSU? Contact info in the tab. Thank you! *Sorry I initially entered this wrong; want 1/24 UNM or 1/6 OHSU :(*
Not seeing your contact info, but willing to switch OHSU. Text me 801-922-0466. Will buy you beer, dinner, etc. Feeling desperate. Haha this goes for anyone else willing as well.*Didn't work out still looking*
you can get reported for exchanging money. That is unethical dude << omg chill << trolling
Where are the rest of the Cali programs? And where is Colorado?!
Colorado is a state of the Western United States encompassing most of the southern Rocky Mountains as well as the northeastern portion of the Colorado Plateau and the western edge of the Great Plains. It is bordered by Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arizona. <-- v tru, but also, colorado prog coordinator said they're notifying people mid dec
<< fantastic, fantastic response. lmao x3
just brushin up my US geography in case the PD asks me which state I would be if I could choose << new mexico, breaking bad 4 sho
is this the new what is your spirit animal question?
mine is still a dead horse because ive been beaten so many times :(( << don't beat a dead horse!! << i need invites and then i'll stop being dead :) :( << and at that point then we can beat you!! << literally nothing is stopping you now, join life as it currently beating me up :( << it sounds like you're having a rough time right now, but remember that you're amazing to even get to this point, and there are so many people who love and care about you!
Will derm interview invites be offered on Thursday 11/7/19 following a silent Wednesday (1 derm rejection)? Yes: 2 No: 0 Programs: WashU (regular), Stanford, Minnesota Actual: Recap of Wednesday 11/6/19 Invites: 0 Rejections: 1 (U of Rochester) TY/Prelim released today (2): U Pitt (Prelim and TY), Brockton (TY) Derm interviews released since Monday (12 first time offers, 1 research track, 1 second wave): U New Mexico, U Arkansas, Oklahoma, Eastern Virginia, Howard, NYU, Mississippi, Medical College of Wisconsin, Georgetown, Wash U (Research), Henry Ford, George Washington, St. John’s Episcopal Hospital and Cooper (2nd wave) TY/Prelim released this week: UVA (Prelim), U Pitt (Prelim and TY) and Brockton (TY) As of 8:40 EST: 63% of derm programs have not sent out interviews and a sum total of ~171/447 (38%) derm spots have been offered interviews. What's the point? IT IS EARLY and the overwhelming majority of spots have not been offered interviews yet AND even the ones that have been offered may not have offered for all their spots. On this equivalent day (i.e. first Wednesday of the month) last year: 1 interview went out (George Washington University, which came out yesterday for us). On tomorrow’s equivalent day (i.e. first Thursday of November) last years: 6 derm interviews went out and 1 med/derm interview! (Wayne State, U Minnesota, Dartmouth, Columbia, Virginia Tech, Southern Illinois and Washington MedDerm) Looking ahead: This week last year was a busy week for interviews with 16 being released in total! Goodnight everyone! -SD
<< This is a long post with some relevant data in addition to your predictions. Hope you all find this useful and have a goodnight! -SD << You're #1 in my heart. Thanks SD <3 x7 <<< SheetDaddy fan here, but I think if the posts were smaller, more morsels/highlights, like the first program prediction/tally template - we'd probably get most people on board. On mobile a post like this to the left takes up entire screen
<-- Download the "Calm" App. << why? << because this is neurotic! << Chill out bro, don't read it if you don't like it instead of being negative. Maybe you should spend your time using the "calm" app instead of being up everyones ass x6 << this actually is pretty neurotic, and I don't think saying something is neurotic should invite such a volatile response. Like damn this whole SD shit is becoming cult-like and stupid.
Hey SD--how many interviews do you have? x2
sdff
Anyone surprised that they DIDNT get an interview somewhere? Rotator? Research experience? Regional connection?
Me. NY resident, didn't do med school in NY, but literally did an away rotation with a LOR from a NY school. No NYU, no Columbia. <<Me. Georgetown. Lived in DC for 4 years << Me. From the Midwest no U of M, Iowa, or Wisconsin! <<Feel that one bruh. x5 << Same, also no Arizona or New Mexico #cool . << 18 years in Texas and no TX programs yet (holding on to hope). From Mexico, no offer from New Mexico!
Me. Born in Boston, went to Harvard, no interview from Harvard << Harvard hasn't gone out yet? Do you mean pre-lim? x2. Prelim <<I got harvard prelims with no connections, but did not get my home program's prelim...its pointless to try to make sense of it

I think they aimed too high. I cancelled my interview there.
I should have cancelled my interview there. A complete waste of my time
did you not match?
I matched. Like another person said, they aimed too high with the people they interviewed
I did an away rotation at New Mexico and did NOT get invited for an interview, so this is hilarious to see. Thankfully I matched with the other interviews I had. << Wowza, it is crazy when they don't interview rotators and then still SOAP, they deserve it
< just becuase people didn't list 2 and 3 doesn't mean its inaccurate << Right, some may have only had 1 interview.
or just added their ranks to the spreadsheet today -- not "sneaking in"
The number of people with 1 interview is not nearly that high
i just filled mine in.... not tampering or putting anything false why would someone do that? -- This whole cycle people have been putting fake stuff on this spreadsheet, some people just like to watch the world burn.
New Mexico is now the top vote getter - someone is just being a jerk

Looks like San Antonio sent invites last year on the equivalent of this upcoming Friday...*stress intensifies*
I noticed that most of their residents are from UTSA. Of the all of the residents, only one is from a different institution (New Mexico).
The current interns PGY1s that are going to UTHSCSA next year are all of different institutions, only one was taken from UTSA!
doesn't look like it came?
New Mexico interview out- external
Can someone add University of New Mexico to the list? They sent out invitations for January 18th
Some posts are shown because their comments mention this program.
e-mail New Mexico I just cancelled it << did you cancel 1/17 or 1/24? <3
