if you are doing/you did an away in a city that has other programs, when you apply to the other programs are you mentioning doing the away in your PS or anything? Like, if you do an away at georgetown, are you mentioning how much you liked DC during your Gtown away in your personal statement for GW?

What is a good area to stay for an away rotation at Georgetown? I'm not very familiar with the DC area and transportation seems like a challenge
<<<Do you have a car? Consider somewhere in Bethesda maybe, Silver spring. Most of the outpatient stuff is in the bethesda. Would have to drive into DC to washington hospital center, not too bad (30 min).

Are you interested in also being a hospitalist in conjunction to a dermatologist? Do you like the IM residency as much as derm? You don't need med-derm training to specialize in complex med-derm in the future (although certainly wouldn't hurt) but it's the most efficient way to do both hospitalist medicine and derm if that's your jam.
also seems like it can push your career forward quickly. Small but very strong network> true, definitely makes you more marketable
thanks yall! honestly i like IM and inpatient medicine, i'm just concerned about the workload of IM residency. i think in the future i would be interested in being a hospitalist a couple weeks out of the year maybe idk

what about northwestern regular Derm/peds derm> NW med derm counts for advanced derm NW position + med derm position. NOT prelim. You can ask to be considered for categorical IM, but that was not guaranteed by just applying.

Did Georgetown MedStar send rejections to anyone? I saw people reported a waitlist but I did not hear from them at all. Do I take that as the rejection
