it just seems like a joke for the amount of RY year posts that are for post PGY1. Like there are just taking advantage of this bottle neck effect of derm reapps. and so many are 2 year long and this is even after rejecting ppl who already did an RY as a student. Thus far its USF, Dallas texas, Goodman derm, mt sinae. like wth
how difficult is it to get these RYs compared to the post MS3 ones?

I have been told by multiple attendings that RYs are basically the way these day or some combination of MPH, MBA, MD-PhD...kind of difficult to compete against folks that have taken extra time.

UF is in the middle of nowhere vs. USF is in Tampa. in terms of program strength they're probably pretty on par.
