anyone have insight into if pennsylvania programs other than Penn and UPMC take students outside of pennsylvania? seems like resident lists from programs like Jefferson, temple, and penn state are all from penn affiliated medical schools.

i know this is about to get stressful but can we just agree early to just not do the whole mean girls of dermatology thing on this sheet this year? its all been said before, lets just not this year< no, this is derm not peds or family medicine. We are competitive by nature. < you should go to Jefferson then, you will fit right in < very familiar with Jefferson program and dont understand why competitive and Jefferson is being used in the same sentence, couldnt be farther from the truth if you know the people, clearly was written by someone from outside that isnt familiar < shade < ew there is no need to be competative like that yikes < sorry for not being up to date but what was the mean girls thing? < great movie with Lindsey Lohan < Also curious as to what this mean girls thing means exactly. I have seen the movie btw just don't understand how it ties into a spreadsheet. < every year, literally every year, the dermalogy spreadsheet is so disgustingly mean (granted this is not just in derm) but lets just not do it this year

I am getting so many mixed signals about Jefferson. Anyone have the real scoop? How does it compare to Montefiore-Einstein and Henry Ford? x2

Does anyone have information about the Jefferson meet and greet that is supposed to be on 9/9? I haven't seen a flyer or anything

Can anyone comment on Jefferson? All I got out of interview is that peds is weak and dermpath is really strong. Have heard from other applicants that they were not impressed with that department during rotations

#25382019-2020 DermMar 23

I think it's different as a resident than as an away rotator. As an away rotator, there are too many students for it to be a strong educational experience.

Resident was an asshole but thankfully he’s leaving. I can’t get over the driving to Deleware and potentially Jersey in the coming years

I KNOW which resident you're talking about. the 1st years are cool, but overshadowed by a few not-so-great upper years
