3 entries✅1. Highly recommend rotating at/applying to this program for future applicants! The rotation exposes you to many subspecialty clinics and you get tons of practice presenting and working directly with the attendings (most days sitting side by side with them all day in the charting room). Would describe the culture as extremely healthy, residents and attendings were smart, chill, and overall fun to be around. No huge egos, just good vibes and good learning

❌1. Did an away here and one of the APDs is just incredibly inappropriate and unkind to patients behind their backs. Very weird vibes overall.

what is Dermatology/FAP? < I believe that's a spot held for a foreign medical graduate. In the past, it was at Tufts' Derm program as they contracted with Saudi Arabia. It's now "Dermatology/Sponsored" if you look at recent NRMP Results and Data. Essentially Saudi Arabia is able to pay for residency spots and those physicians train at certain places in the United States and for certain specialties that they need and then those trained residents go back to Saudi Arabia to practice full-time. It's only like 1 spot each year so not very huge in the grand scheme of things.

Tufts or HF? In terms of prestige < In terms of perceived prestige by name only, I'd go with Tufts. Having Harvard and BU Derm close by in Boston helps if you're considering fellowship as they feed off each other in terms of taking people they know.

can we talk about tufts? the peds/pedi neuro/triple board residents got screwed. is the derm department safe? < what happened? < derm is safe, brings in too much money for them to get rid of the entire dept
