3 entries✅1. Interviewers were super nice and interviews were low-stress and conversational. Very well-rounded program with robust surgical, cosmetic, and medical dermatology exposure.
✅2. Honestly such a hidden gem, so underrated, despite it's location so much exposure to so many different aspects of derm both medical and procedural. Great people within the program! Really not sure how this program doesn't have more hype!
❌1. To be transparent the parking situation really does suck, you have to park far away then shuttle into the hospital. Not ideal when it's dark and cold. Also Iowa City and the surrounding towns give a nice college town vibe but definitely not for everyone!

After the most recent Iowa deletion, I did some detective work, and found that Iowa-deleting-DBruh is NOT the same as spreadsheet owner DBruh, as I think the real DBruh had hypothesized. In the version history, the user “D Bruh” implicated in these deletions shows up in a different color compared to the “D Bruh” who posts sane comments and was the only one of the two posting months ago (for me, it’s dark gray blue vs turquoise). The problem is that we can’t tell who the fake DBruh is. Only the name is visible in version history, not email address, so not sure we can get rid of them. Anyway, all this is to say, lighten up on the mods. If the FBI is reading this, give me a job. x2 |

Dont know whay this keeps getting deleted. I am an external, I got a call from Iowa. To whoever is "internal;" and acting like they know how it is... just because you didnt get a call does not mean they didnt make calls.... dont lie to yourself and others to make yourself feel better.

Did anyone from the Northeast get an Iowa interview? I'm from and went to school in NE and feel like I'm not getting love from these southern/midwest schools.| Yes from the NE and received one, but I've gotten rejected from the other Midwest programs

NYC has a lot of great programs (NYU, Columbia, Cornell, Sinai), but Chicago really only has NW. There are much better programs in the Midwest compared to the other Chicago programs

MN lakes > lake michigan, the food is slightly better in Chicago (I'll give you that) but MN still has great restaurants. plus it is so much cleaner, less corrupt, has less traffic/crime, and better outdoor activities and bike trails

I'll echo that besides Chicago, Minneapolis/St Paul is great, but so too is Madison. For university towns, Ann Arbor and Iowa City are nice (at least for three years). Not going to lie, Celeveland and St Louis are terrible

Agreed. Case and Cleveland Clinic were both excellent programs. Completely shitty as cities and terrible weather.
