Fame & Shame

1. Call seems to be the worst out of all the New York schools. Great exposure but the residents seemed tired

something to think about is that cornell and columbia have twice as much call as sinai and nyu due to class size

Anyone know programs that have good fertility coverage in their insurance :D?

#27862025–2026 DermFeb 21

Whered u interview is the real question for this

Feb 21
0

UCSF has 30k!

Feb 21
0

Penn, Columbia >Mayo has tons of support, UCSD also has robust fertility benefits (I think 20-30k)

Feb 21
0

are fertility benefits mainly egg freezing or do they are include IVF?

Feb 21
0

i think both

Feb 21
0

a handful of programs ive interviewed at have had this. so nice to see!

Feb 21
0

Is there a way to see the fertility specific coverage in a plan or did the programs specifically highlight it as a benefit? would love to know which programs have coverage!

Does anyone have any insight on what the program at Mizzou is like? everyone there seemed super nice so was just wondering!

#25412025–2026 DermFeb 21

Rotated there - some of the friendliest and most down-to-earth faculty and residents I've ever worked with. Lots of peds derm on the faculty, very welll-rounded curriculum IMO. Columbia is very college town-y so that could be a plus or minus depending on where you are at in life

Feb 21
0

Very kind faculty who want to teach. They will be having residents go to a smaller town 30 min away starting next year but could be a positive if you like that

UCSF vs Columbia vs UCLA?

#25402025–2026 DermFeb 21
