Seems they love their Harvard people... --> a friend who matched there affirmed that most of her interview cohort was from top programs, do with that what you will

no, it's not BS. Look at who is matching there lol. UCSD Chair specifically looks for and prefers people from "top" institutions. They don't even match people from their own school.
Any tea on USC? Does getting an away there mean you actually have a chance or is it a waste.
They heavily emphasize rotators/internal RY. They take a ton of rotators tho so it still doesn't help you much. Certain faculty have pretty much taken 2/4 spots for their fellows recently, so you're left with an even smaller chance.

Research fellow gains exposure to clinical trials for various dermatologic diseases including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and hidradenitis suppurativa. Includes exposure to clinical dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and dermatopathology as well. Full-time, paid position (40 hrs/week).
