💬1. Something weird going on here. Recently lost a prominent black faculty member, then signed another prominent black dermatologist. Recent complaints about attempting to steal NIH funding from another faculty member they fired. Unsure if this affects the residency at all.

Thoughts on texas programs?
UT Southwestern is probably the best program in terms of education, training, research in Derm. Very hardcore academic oriented program. Baylor COM is more just clinical, not really much real research going on. You don't really "check out" to attendings.
