Can anyone explain how the regional match statistics from the NRMP indicate 4 filled spots in the Northeast for Med/Derm? Doesn't jibe with the numbers on the spreadsheet (should only be 2 if Penn and Harvard only had 1 spot each)
I guess Georgetown must be considered in the NE even though the map doesn't seem like it

2 derm spots went to Ross grads, has that happened before?
I have seen IMGs matched before but usually they are from top schools like European schools, Aga Khan, or Sackler (going to a NY school) and they usually have done research fellowships. it's not surprising at all (given they did research fellowships). If they got in without one, that would be surprising
