Hi all, I am a current senior resident (graduate in June) at Mayo Rochester. I just wanted to share an experience as you consider programs. I reached out to one of our PDs for input on boards studying and creating a schedule. PD took the time to review my scores on exams and qbank and created a personalized board studying schedule for me tailored by topic. That is the kind of dedication and commitment you will get here from the faculty. As I am graduating, I have no investment in whether you rank us highly or not, but I just wanted to share that experience while you are considering programs. mayo interview done: I liked it. A bit heavy on the tell me about x patient, but otherwise asked good insightful questions that prolly do give insight into the applicant

Is Derm unique in mostly doing behavioral question interviews, and if so, why? My medicine interviews have been conversational, and friends in surgery dont get many behavioral questions <I feel like I haven't gotten too many behavioral questions at derm interviews? Mayo had a lot but otherwise I felt like most programs have maybe 1 behavioral question per station and the rest was conversation x3
