2 entries❌1. The only good thing i have to say about this program is that they have a diverse set of patients and strong med derm. But this school was awful and unfortunately disappointing and did not meet expectations for a supportive or learning environment.The faculty across the board does not like to engage w/ students (not sure if its the same for home students). Faculty doesnt make an effort to get to know rotators, and there's minimal investment in teaching. Residents are overall unapproachable or standoffish toward rotators (theres like 3-4 nice ones and you can easily tell who they are). One resident rolled her eyes at me when I introduced myself then another rotator told me that yelled at another rotator and made her cry bc of a silly mistake (wont go into details in order to not Doxx anyone). Away is easy to get, they will give an II, but they will take there home students.
❌2. Residents and attendings at this program also openly hate on other derm programs in the region in front of rotators. Very unprofessional.

anyone with an ohio state interview received any info with details of the day?

Anyone else interview at ohio st and get a decline (or acceptance from a community TY (i.e. Mt. Carmel) the next day? I got a decline the day after and can’t help but wonder if that has something to do w my ranking on OSU’s list (they only have one interview day and rank right after). Might be reading too much into it but the denial the day after interview from a TY so late in the season seems like too big a coincidence (also seems reasonable that they may share their rank order with community TY programs so they can identify those likely to end up there). Kinda bummed bc I really liked OSU but just wondering if anyone had a similar experience or any info on the community TY/academic center sharing info was a thing. Thanks.
