i don't know who needs to hear this but go get them brows tattooed. I can't believe I waited this long - out here drawing uneven ass eyebrows every morning when i could just do this and look like I can take on the world right after i wake up in the morning < gotta do good research with befores and afters bc i have seen some whack microblade jobs since they got super popular over the last 5 years ( and know youll have to have them redone eventually)

Thoughts on this year's cycle? Been hearing that programs are expecting a record number of applicants…< not sure why it would be different from last year <people know its virtual interviews this year so more people might just shoot their shot and dual apply for derm (wouldn't put this past some high step scorers) < yeah i don't know if that many people just wake up and apply derm with just great scores

Info to the right is awful. Like, literally do not follow any bit of it if you want to match. Do aways at places you think you might get an interview. Do NOT waste your time on a program that doesn't frequently interview their rotators. If you go to a top 10 school maybe you don't need to do aways but the rest of us do. They are crucial. I don't know how accurate it is but I've heard around 50% of derm applicants end up matching to a place they did a rotation. This year was hard to judge because of virtual ones. I would look to previous years' spreadsheets to get an idea of which programs traditionally give interviews to their rotators and which ones don't. For example I rotated at Wake Forest some years ago and they didn't give even half of us rotators interviews. I therefore generally advise people against rotating there

Wake forest was super chill but those cat conversations were starting to get a bit weird lol x4<but did y'all talk about the grizzly vs. gorilla problem? That convo was starting to get weird last week
