I don't understand the tier list. So does the tier list mean that UTSW/Mayo are more competitive than Columbia/Hopkins and harder to match to? People would rank UTSW/Mayo that high?

Any tea on Columbia? < still malignant, still busy, residents worked to point of breakdown. Medically underserved population that attendings won't see in their own private clinic. Very smart attendings, some very dedicated to education. The most toxic attendings have since been fired (DVB, MG)

Is doing aways at Cornell or Columbia worth it for someone who wants to stay in NYC? Not much info on the spreadsheets < Mount sinai is a better option < Sinai interviewed a lot of the rotators and it was a GREAT rotation

Away rotations are tricky because if you rub someone the wrong way, there goes your interview (even if it's not your fault ie being at the wrong place at the wrong time)
