What anonymous posters said
Anonymous posters frequently described confusion over University of Florida's presentation requirements for interviews, including uncertainty about slide limits and whether a recording was needed. Several commenters noted that the program tends to interview a large share of rotators and away students, with some describing lower chances without a rotation there. Sentiment was mixed, with some posts describing a positive, collegial impression and others expressing disappointment or noting long waits for interview updates.

Are all UF offers out? I didnt hear anything and applied first day :/
applying the first day doesn't guarantee you an away
thank you i understand that. Idk how they do it but only see 3 on tracker. They also sent two spots for rotations students have already rescided so dont know how that will go tbh idk why its such a mess
i applied first day last year and didn't get one either they're so picky
its okay, now you dont gave to worry about living in gainesville for 3 years
facts
Why is UF doing this. They sent out acceptences but for days people already rescinded their apps
people who did SPD last year, do all of the abstracts get published? if not, how do you know?
yeah they get published!
we have 14 internals applying at UF, so it may be because they are trying to determine where to place away rotators because all the internal students are rotating between June-September
UF is playin games at this point ERAS is about to open like.
they did this last year too so annoying
any news from UF?
Is UF sending out decisions? someone said "rejected" on the tab but no other info. x1
Hey ya'll we have most of the spreadsheet filled out now (a separate copy exists despite someone sabotaging and deleting). We are still missing matches for: Kansas (KS), Vanderbilt (TN), Temple (PA), MCG (GA), St. Lukes (PA), HCA Corpus Christi (TX), HealthPartners (MN), Mayo Clinic (Jacksonville) (FL), EVMS (VA), Marshfield Clinic (WI), DCC-Flint (MI), LSU - New Orleans (LA).

Anyone hear back from UF yet?
guess not lol
they took forever to get back about Aways last year too like not until June
emailed today apparently they have not reviewed apps yet- oof
did they say when they would...
Any news from UF? This is taking soo long
There are a ton of internals>gr8 do we know how many
14-15>omg?
yeah…
how is that even possible
delusion
its actually only about 8 internals. its not more than 10. PD siad they will review in May. Still have a couple days left.
It's at least 14…? I can list 13 off the top of my head and know I'm missing at least 1> why make stuff up? you sound insecure
??? I am just trying to help explain why there might be a delay from UF. It's difficult to coordinate rotations when there are a lot of internals
not op but can confirm there are 14+ including the current post doc
there's 13-14 of us total (aka no more than 14 for sure, I think one person is still deciding if they want to do a research year) >14 people in 1 class wanting to do derm is criminal behavior omg
there could be more tbh this class is sneaky
Has anyone heard from uf
not yet, on the last spreadsheet someone said rejected but no other info
anyone?
Can anyone speak to the patient base/diversity of conditions seen at UF in Gainesville?
In regards to people citing no residents staying on as faculty as a big negative for a program... if the culture of the program is not really in question, isn't that more of a reflection of program location? UF for example
anyone know if UF lets prelims rotate thru derm for electives

I think UF?
