What do you all know about UIC's derm program? I got an interview and I don't know much about them < same. Tell me why there is nothing on their website …

Has anyone gotten a link to schedule for UIC yet? In their email they didn't even put a time.

"holy shit UIC had over 20 people apply derm and only 11 matched it looks like per their website < oof but also 20 is....too much < i know but that is really a huge bummer < are there going to be another 20 from them next cycle ? " < it was way over 20 < Matching 11 people into Dermatology is actually a pretty good rate. I believe UIC's med school class is pretty huge at like 300 students. < UIC allows us to hide our match results publicly, so not everyone that matched is there. Also, the >20 count takes into account all three campuses, most people matched at the Rockford and Peoria campuses

so how did schools with a shit ton of applicants end up doing?? didn't UIC have like 20 applicants or something < bad <plz elaborate < a lot of unmatched applicants < where did you get this info? < Don't know official results at our school, but I think it was bad < just found out all 9 of us matched < UIC's rate was 75%+

So does uic not have any admin time? presentation wasn't clear

How do you all rank the Which are your favorite/sleeper programs releasing tomorrow (WashU,Pitt, Wisc, Duke, UIC,UCDavis, UNC, MCW, OSU, Oklahoma,etc)? < can you pls stop this is so unnecessary lol and only adds to weird stress/competitiveness/toxicity that's been festering in this sheet over the last week

Anyone have the UIC IM (prelim) interview? Have tomorrow and haven't heard anything

The number of applicants from some of these programs are unbelievable...like 10, 12, 14 students applying in one year?! I feel really bad for them, I feel like that would make it super hard to get interviews since you're being compared to your classmates / since programs won't interview more than like 3-4 from a single school?! I don't know but I never thought some schools would have so many applicants, hope friends at UIC, Harvard, Case, etc. are hanging in there! <3
