For Georgetown Med star derm program, do we have to rank internal medicine prelims to match the program? The website is a little confusing and on the applicant page it says you need to do an internal medicine preliminary but it wasn't mentioned on interviews and on the main page of the residency program they said any post graduate 1 year education is fine. I might just be over thinking this whole thing < current georgetown student, you can do a TY or prelim but like most derm programs they prefer a prelim year :)
@ GW rankers, re: the email we got about the tied prelim program. Is this spot guaranteed if we match at GW or do we still need to rank all the other prelims? Adding all these programs again is such a pain. ALSO does anyone know if their 3rd resident was approved or not?
Does anyone know the call schedule for GW? Can't seem to find it on the video or website
Seeing the hotlist is locked...Georgetown M&G...gray henley *drool*
Does anyone have interview impressions for georgetown/medstar interview?
What makes GW strong in cosmetics?
Does Maryland or Georgetown have academic time?
hopkins gave me $10 gc and GW gave me $40 swag. Who would have thunk it
anyone know why Medstar/Georgetown is under ACGME warning for probation? // The official term is "Continued Accreditation with Warning": Cook County Health and Hospitals System, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science (Rochester), MedStar Health/Washington Hospital Center, Tufts Medical Center, UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine/UCLA Medical Center, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, Wayne State University School of Medicine. The only program that is on "Probationary Accreditation" is Rush University Medical Center.
two kinds of applicants on this sheet: the kind that filled out the IV impressions for Howard and GW and the kind that filled out for Alabama and Arkansas. i know the kind i hope i am coresidents with lol
anyone here apply to GW prelim and have not heard back?
so does medstar/georgetown have 3 advanced spots and 1 spot for med-derm?
How many people get interviewed at Georgetown Medstar?
similiar to question below , did GW actually release interviews as well? they were scheduled for 11/29 and only one person put something. i feel like some of these "invites" need to be vetted more < yes they released
