Anyone else feeling like your performance at Harvard interview was subpar?

Applicants from T 20 schools - if you have an interview to a T 10 derm program are you picking prestige that regular people are aware of (Harvard, Stanford) or going for fit with a less world famous name?

Would it really be a wasted opportunity in life to rank harvard and yale lower?

For those who interviewed at Harvard and NYU do you think the experience of 1 year at bellevue and 1 year at the VA over the 3 years makes the clinical training stronger vs the 2 month VA time at Harvard? I know VAs give tons of autonomy and I imagine Bellevue autonomy is similar. Thoughts?

For someone who had no chance at a Harvard interview, how did it go today? Living vicariously through you all LOL x3

The number of applicants from some of these programs are unbelievable...like 10, 12, 14 students applying in one year?! I feel really bad for them, I feel like that would make it super hard to get interviews since you're being compared to your classmates / since programs won't interview more than like 3-4 from a single school?! I don't know but I never thought some schools would have so many applicants, hope friends at UIC, Harvard, Case, etc. are hanging in there! <3

just filled out the georgetown internal column! I didn't see any others filled out, please fill it out if you can! I think it could be helpful! side question: do most program usually rank home students highest? I can see how harvard etc might not, but other programs?

Can someone explain what is meant by Harvard residents being "left on their own" means? I can't imagine a place like harvard would have zero guidance.

Has anyone gotten interviews at MGH, Brigham, MSKCC etc for prelim/TYs but have <5 or few derm interviews?

Hi! I was just wondering if anyone here had any perspectives on programs in Boston outside of Harvard so BU, Tufts, UMass, etc.? Or programs close to Boston like Brown? I am on the east coast but want to end up in Boston because my fiance and family (and his family) are in Boston, but I have v average stats for derm as far as board scores, pubs, etc. I'm an M3 submitting apps next fall and I'm not sure if any of those programs are within reach / should I do an away rotation at those programs or they mostly take home students (or RY students) / if anyone had any perspective about what the culture is like at those programs! I would love to hear ANY perspectives if anyone has any and would be willing to share with me! Thank you!!

Does anyone know how many applicants are interviewed for how many spots at Stanford, Harvard, Penn, NYU, UCSF, etc?
